스톤에이지를 다시 시작했습니다. 요즘 들어 심심풀이로 할 게임을 계속 찾아 방황하던 차에 예전부터 가끔씩 해왔던 스톤에이지를 하게 되었습니다. 스톤에이지는 대략 8년전부터 있던 게임으로 석기시대가 배경인 게임입니다. 공룡인 페트를 키우고 레벨을 올리는 소위 rpg 류의 게임이죠. 원래는 이니엄에서 서비스 했던 게임인데 몇 년전 이니엄이 서비스를 중지하고 넷마블이 판권을 사서 넷마블에서 새로 서비스해오고 있습니다. 덕분에 예전에 키우던 케릭이나 펫들을 다 사라졌죠.

항상 그래왔던 것 같습니다. 예전부터 온라인 게임을 하면 리니지를 주로 했는데 리니지를 하다가 질리면 항상 이 게임을 하곤 했습니다. 1년 중에 두~세달정도 쉬엄쉬엄 하게 되는 게임이 이거였죠. 또 이 게임이 좋았던 것이 턴제이고 리더를 안 하는 이상 컨트롤은 단순히 몬스터만 순서대로 클릭하면 되는지라 단어 외우면서 하기 참 좋았던 게임이죠. 어차피 다른 사람과 달리 저 같은 경우는 펫의 능력치가 A급이 되는지 F급이 되는지 상관하지 않는터라 그냥 적당히 레벨 올리면서 채팅하는게 주 이다보니 저렇게 공부하면서 해도 병행이 잘 되더라구요. 그리고 은근히
단어가 잘 외워진다는게 특성입니다. 짧은 시간 집중해서 단어보고 클릭하고 하다보니 단어도 잘 외워지고 단어 목표한 것 다 외운 후에 레벨 보면 또 꽤 올라있고 하는게 이 게임의 재미였죠.

예전에 비해 게임을 하는 연령층이 많이 낮아졌습니다. 옛날에는 최소 중학교 였던 것 같은데 지금은 초등학교 저학년까지 다양하더군요. 그리고 무분별한 인터넷의 보급화로 인하여 게임이 많이 삭막해졌습니다. 예전 같았으면 게임을 하면서 대화도 많이 하고 인심도 좋고 했지만 지금은 게임을 하다보면 서로에게 무분별하게 욕하는 장면들도 많이 보고 대화자체도 많이 없어졌습니다. 파티원끼리 대화하는 것이 재미였던 이 게임이었는데 지금은 많이 변했죠. 아마 그 이유 중에 하나가 게임의 무료화인 것 같습니다. 옛날 이니엄에서 서비스를 할 당시에는 한달에 9900원이라는 정액제 요금을 내고 게임을 하였는데 지금은 무료라 접근이 좀더 용이해졌습니다. 그래도 가끔 괜찮은 사람들도 많이 보고 대화도 재밌는 경우가 있어서 다행입니다.

넷마블에서 서비스를 하기 시작하면서 아쉬운 점이 많이 생겨났습니다. 아기자기 했던 게임이 약간은 저급화가 되었다고 할까요? 엄청난 캐쉬템과 캐쉬펫 그리고 각종 편의성 아이템의 유입으로 게임이 약간 재미없어졌습니다. 그 예로 옛날에는 스톤에이지 최고의 펫이었던 모가로스가 지금은 옛날에 비해 많이 별볼일 없게 되었죠. 보통 캐쉬펫의 경우 기존의 펫보다는 훨씬 좋기 때문에 대전에서도 지는 경우가 많이 있습니다. 이런 상황이다 보니 저같이 옛날 페트 위주로 키우는 사람들은 약간 소외감을 느끼게 되죠. 뭐 그래도 어쩌겠습니까 하하.

      지금은 잠시 안하는 중입니다^^; 근데...재미는 있죠 예전에 비해서 펫도 많이 추가되고 사람도 많아서 재미는 있습니다. 단, 단점은 초딩이 너무 많다는 것과 옛날 구펫들이 힘을 못써요. 캐쉬펫들한테 쉽게 먹혀버리니..ㅠ

    저는 일본스톤에이지 하고 있는데 넷마블로 넘어간뒤 일본쪽 계속 하고 있는데 구펫과 신펫간에 성장률차이가 없고 듀얼시스템에서는 명문화된 - 대전장에 가보면 간판 같은거 있는데 룰이 나옴 - 규칙을 이용하니 주술, 펫교체, 레벨에 따른 체급사용등 체계적인 게임룰로 듀얼에서도 진짜 넷마블의 그것에서 느끼지 못하는 참 재미를 느낄 수 있었어요.

      오호, 그렇군요. 원래 스톤에이지가 일본에서 오지 않았나요? 예전 이니엄 할 때도 일본하고 판권문제로 이니엄이 사업을 접었던 것으로 기억하는데... 그래서 그런지 말씀하신 것처럼 훨씬 활성화 되어있나보네요. 부럽습니다. 이놈의 넷마블은 시스템을 개선/개발 시키는게 주가 아닌 캐쉬펫/템 파는데 중점을 두니 게임이 점점 재미없게 변해가버리네요. ㅠ

    안녕하세요 스톤에이지를 검색하다가 이글을 보게되었는되요.
    예전 1.74때가 그립군요..
    저두 초등학교 5학년 이니엄 클로즈베타때부터 시작했지만
    (물론 중간중간 접기두 하구 바뻐서 못하기두 ㅎㅎ)
    그래도 항상 1.74오리지날 버진이 가장 재미있는거 같아요
