혹시 베트남 가시거나 베트남 여행에 관심있으신 분들을 위해 작게 정보를 드리고자 써봅니다.
베트남에서 사용하는 언어는 베트남어이며 화폐는 Dong입니다.
베트남은 크게 두가지 도시가 있습니다. 하노이하고 호치민이죠. 북부와 남부에 따라 나뉘는 이
도시는 서로 성향이 다릅니다. 하노이는 수도이며 행정도시 격이고 호치민은 경제도시 격입니다.
그렇기 때문에 호치민이 좀더 번화하죠. 특히 몇년전까지 베트남에서는 KFC,맥도날드 같은 외국
브랜드를 차단하다가 풀었는데 호치민에 먼저 롯데리아와 KFC(까엡씨)가 들어오고 하노이에는
3년전에야 들어오게 되었죠. 그래서 하노이 사는 사람은 호치민 놀러가면 하노이로 돌아올때 선물로
KFC햄버거를 사왔다는 후문이... 뭐 어찌됐든 이렇습니다.
이렇게 하노이하고 호치민하고 차이가 큰데요. 우선 기후차이도 상당히 큽니다. 하노이 같은 경우는
계절이 쉽게 두가지로 나뉘어요. 여름과 겨울. 3~11월이 여름 12~2월이 겨울 입니다. 그렇다고 해서
겨울에 눈이 내리냐? 이런건 아닙니다. 단순히 춥기만 해요. 그리고 여름도 살짝 선선한 봄/가을 같은
여름이 있죠. 이에 비해서 호치민은 1년 내내 여름입니다. 단지 나뉘는거는 우기/건기이죠. 우기때는
엄청나게 많이 비가 오기도 합니다.
그리고 물가 차이도 마찬가지로 나지요. 하노이가 호치민에 비해 많이 저렴한 편입니다.
예를 들어 베트남의 주요 교통수단인 오토바이 택시(쎄옴)의 가격의 경우 3년전에는
같은 기본 거리일 경우에는 하노이 3000동 호치민 5000동 이정도로 차이가 납니다.
하지만 택시는 비슷비슷합니다. 하지만 호치민이 도시가 더 크기 때문에 택시가 더 길게 가죠.
또한 호치민과 하노이에 따라서 여행지도 달라집니다.
하노이 근처의 여행지는 하롱베이(한국에도 알려진 경관),하이퐁(휴향지),사파(높은 산,겨울에 운
좋으면 눈도 내림),
중부 근처 여행지는 후에(hue 과거 성), 호이안
그리고 호치민 근처 여행지는 구찌터널, 메콩강(메콩델타, 큰강), 냐짱(해변), 붕따우(해변), 무이네(해변) 정도 입니다.
